Odi-Unknown is known throughout Los Angeles as having a knack for creating timeless records through his iconic melodies. His record “Pull up” really showcases his skillset and is featured on his Instagram page where he has garnered over 11,000 followers.
We had the opportunity to interview him and here is what he had to say:
What inspires you most?
Odi: I love listening to music with emotion and energy. I really enjoy making music and being in the studio it’s like my second home. I love fashion and making cool music!
What is your end goal with social media / your fame?
Odi: Currently I am an independent singer-songwriter, but my goal is to be heard by the world. I want to be able to show everyone my music and what I can do.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Odi: In 5 years I plan to become more of an entrepreneur. I want to own a few businesses and hopefully 5 years from now I would’ve worked with some big names in the industry. Definitely want to work with more elite producers!
Who are your idols? Why?
Odi: I enjoy listening to artists such as The Weeknd and Bryson Tiller. They have such an “unknown vibe”, keeping fans want to know more about there music and craft. When these artists were underground, I know people that were friending to hear more. It’s part of the reason why I go by Odi-Unknown. I also enjoy listening to Young Thug, Migos, and Cochise. Their music hypes me up and they have style and flow. I try to incorporate style into my music and when I listen to their music it helps me to remember.
What was the first video or event that went viral for you or made people notice you??
Odi: My first music video to my single “Lean 4 $ale”. My team and I worked so hard on the visual and the concept and direction was unique. If people didn’t like the song they liked the visual and vice-versa.
